President - Jayne Behman
Both Presidents share in overseeing the operation of the Oil Pastel Acrylic Group, dividing the task of communicating with all officers and committee chairs on a regular basis, primarily through the monthly Board meetings. President A writes a bi-monthly OPAG newsletter as part of the SLO Museum of Art newsletter. President B oversees contracts with the SLO Museum of Art, Juror’s contracts, etc. and communicates with the SLO Museum of Art Executive Director on OPAG matters. Additionally, both presidents alternate in attending the SLO Museum of Art Board of Director’s monthly meetings and the SLO Museum of Art quarterly Presidents’ meetings.

First Vice President - Open
Serves as Exhibition Chair for the Annual Brushstrokes Exhibitions and the two McMeen Gallery Exhibits. Writes proposals for OPAG’s exhibitions, clearing them with President A.

Second Vice President - Open
Develops and coordinates programs for monthly OPAG Board Meetings and prepares a schedule by calendar year of these events.

Secretary - Sandi Heller
Takes the minutes at the monthly meetings and distributes them to the Board members. Maintains a correspondence file.

Treasurer - Lindsay Kovacevich
Prepares a monthly financial report that is distributed to each Board member at the monthly meeting. Maintains financial records for OPAG. Collects funds and makes bank deposits in the OPAG account. Writes checks as needed for authorized reimbursements. Prepares a yearly OPAG Financial Statement for the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art Executive Director and staff, plus a copy for the OPAG Board.

Membership - Nancy Loversky
Prepares and maintains up-to-date membership records, communicating with the SLO Museum of Art staff to obtain new membership list. Sends a Welcome Letter to new members.

Publicity - Open
Prepares and sends out press releases to the media, and is in charge of OPAG’s bulk postcard
mailings.

Hospitality - Ellen Jewett
Provides appropriate liquid and solid refreshments at each Demonstration/Presentation meeting. Oversees the OPAG Guest Book and greets visitors at Demonstration/Presentation meetings. Plans for and oversees the refreshments and greetings at all OPAG Exhibition events.

COMMITTEE CHAIRS : These members do not have to attend Board meetings but are asked to help in the assigned committee areas and vote.

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS : These members hold an Advisory capacity. They do not have to attend Board meetings but are asked to volunteer as needed and to give advice to the Board.

Vice President - Exhibitions - Board position, must attend Board meetings
Seek out venues for membership
Work with Exhibition Chair to coordinate the exhibition
Prepare time line
work with other chairs to coordinate Website, Marketing, and Volunteer efforts

Co-Marketing Chair - working with Flo Bartell, this position asks its Volunteers to work on public awareness for TPG and its members.  We ask these co-chairs to do the following:

(not manditory to attend Board meetings but asked to write up a report for our monthly Board meeting which becomes part of the Minutes)

Find the correct email addresses to distribute online Press Releases
Input Exhibition and Demo information on various websites
Distribute Press Releases
Hand deliver postcards for TPG exhibitions
Follow up on press releases

Exhibition Chair - 2012 President's Invitational
Work with Exhibition Vice President to coordinate this invitational exhibition

Liaison - Artist Groups
Contact and keep abreast of other Artist Group activities and report same to Board.
